Vote to Submit letter to David with Changes - All in favor no opposed
Renovation of double bowed building
New decks will be 6ft deep by 14 feet and follow contour of building
Abutters have been notified, and seem to supportive
No opposition at meeting
Vote to not oppose with standard language - All in favor, No opposed
Renovation of building complete
Association has hired a deck contractor (from Newton)
Have not approached abutters to date (we provided ideas of how to do that)
New decks will back up to Union Park
New decks will be 10ft deep and 12 feet wide (lower deck extends width of building)
No hearing date set with Board of Appeals
New decks will be all wood construction (existing fire escapes will remain)
Discussion of potential issues with size (recommend 6/8 feet)
Vote to not oppose with standard language - All in favor, No opposed
Reviewed benefits of merger with Ellis association. Together we are stronger
Reviewed movement with South End Coalition, joining and creating one voice is best for the neighborhood.
John Herbert has invited anyone from Eight Streets that is interested to the May 30th Ellis Meeting.
Vote to form committee to meet with Ellis and review specifics of a merger (John, Sharon, Linda, and Claudia) and have Ellis come to the next meeting to review their organization. 13 in favor 3 abstentions.

Vote to recommend Kevin and Sharon - 8 in favor - 1 abstention
