To Whom it May Concern,

At the October 4, 2006 meeting of the Eight Streets Neighborhood Association, Felino Samson, presented his new restaurant concept (“Pops”), which will be located at 560 Tremont St, Boston, MA. He came to the monthly association meeting to ask for our support for obtaining a cordial license to add to a beer and wine license they have already purchased.

Mr. Samson’s concept is of a neighborhood bistro with moderately priced food that can accommodate up to 40-48 people. He presented diagrams and plans which show how they will be renovating the space to be a warmer and more open space. Mr. Samson stated that this is to be a neighborhood restaurant and not aimed at being a bar. He would like the opportunity to offer his patrons a cordial (an apertif or digestif) before or after dinner. All questions and concerns from neighbors were answered.

The Eight Streets Membership voted and is not opposed to Mr. Samson adding a cordial license to the beer and wine license for the restaurant.
